Hi Bill,
my favorite is clearly ROSE or PINK, especially in the 14K version as this alloy has a much richer (deeper) rose tone...
The sources are very different, found also some nice watches on trader shows, but you ought to know the dealers that they keep some interesting pieces for you, otherwise
these pieces are whisked away very fast before you can spot them...
As for the white gold alloy - I am ashamed I do not know at all.
kind regards
erich
I never thought I'd like RG much until I acquired an RG watch - but it is so much more uncommon than yellow. As for white gold - well I know many like it and it is the fashion now but it does nothing for me as it looks just like stainless steel. A Rollie DateJust with a white gold bezel looks just like a steel watch whereas the yellow gold version looks at least as if the bezel is made of something expensive.
Cheers

I always have a crave for Rose gold case watches. I find the color so pleasant to look at than the Yellow. Yellow is boring. It RG matches nicely with either silver or black dials. Thanks. John

. i've never owned a white gold watch. if i could find one i think i would love it. i find yellow gold a bit blingy, but within my narrow collecting theme i find that is what is on offer. 9ct gold is good with me as its copper content gives it a rose gold tinge.
i think i first found my preference for rose gold when i indulged in the Museum collection as all the gold ones up to and including 2005 were in rose gold as they replicated the deeper colour of gold from the vintage era.
i hope that answers your question
