Hello everyone.....
Been wearing the franken watch with the 30T2Rg movement !! The case is 45 mm not counting lugs or crown. It takes a 22 mm strap and it even has a signed Omega crown !

After close examination of the dial ... Someone went to a lot of expense in making this dial, aged lum and aged lum in the hands. The dial does not look like a new production under high magnification its looks very old and that is very hard to fabricate.

The prize movement !
It is keeping excellent time and winding fine !! I wish I could find and buy more timepieces like this one.. People have asked me if it came from Eastern Europe, It did not, It came from South America and I would love to find out who made this dial...
Any thoughts ?

Somebody has gone into a lot of effort to shape it like a (British) WWII milit.watch. I've seen 30mm pocket watches in SC-version but not Rg-chronomètre. Your serialnumber 11'34 is actually surprisingly high in my opinion, most are somewhere between 9'8 and 10'5 M. Perhaps it used to be a very late Rg model exported to S.America, that for whatever reason lost it's casing and got eventually modified. It's history would be most interesting to know!
Simple and effective to fold that "horseshoe" downward when wearing: out of sight and it does not bother you. Enjoy!

The folding over of the bow works like a charm... I was thinking of replacing the crown and stem for an onion crown style.. but the current crown is Omega signed and I did not want to modify it from its original !! hahahahahahaha
I would also love to know how this watch came to be... I am still shaking my head when I look at my wrist ! The dial was so well done and even the Omega chronometre was done well...
Thanks for pointing out the high serial number.. only thing that would have been better if the movement was marked 262 !

barrel bridge very likely is changed - so movt. ser. nr. very likely is from a different 30mm movement - otherwise
Omega would have cheated with the movement engravings
Or, there might be a hidden jewel somewhere .....

thanks for the point out.... I was focused on the drive train and balance parts when I was buying it... I knew it was a recase.... if the s/n plate is a replacement does not make a difference to me.
