hi guys, despite having 2 seamaster 600's and a couple of 6xx calibres in gold cases i was intrigued by one have seen you know where. black dial, red cross hairs, red omega logo ref 135.011. omega vintage database actually show this watch with one slight difference. on the database it has a single white chapter ring, but the one for sale has a double white chapter ring. if anyone would like to jump in with an opinion i would greatly appreciate it. heres the picture.

Like you, my first reaction was to say "redial" but it seems correct.

. . . a close look at mrsnak's image contribution at the bottom of the thread.  That image from Omega's database depicts a dial with a single track of markers. 

I re read the post Art and it appeared that we all seemed happy with Stefans 600 which had double white chapter ring as there was a new member with an omega refurbed dial which has double chapter ring.
I know the database shows only a single chapter ring, but we all know how incomplete the database is.

I'm happy that the pic i posted is a genuine one so will be spending accordingly. Its a nice unusual dial, much nicer than the plain ones i have on my other 2.
Hopefully i'll get it at a good price as the plexi looks rough and not everyone researches as much as we do.

. . . whose instincts are notably trustworthy, felt that the dial was genuine.  I can't point to a single feature that doesn't come across as genuine other than the implementation of the double track, which I've never seen on any other watch from any manufacturer.  That seems very odd to my eyes.

i said it was a redial, but then Erich stated he had seen several with original dials and theres a pic of one with double chapter ring direct from omega.
that leads me to believe that the double chapter ring is an original dial as well as the single chapter ring.

if things change to the contrary i can retract my bid so nothing to be lost.

will wait to see who else joins in.

No. I havent got the black book. Stefan may have an extract for his. The new guy had only just got his back from bienne with a refinished dial which indicates its correctness to me.

it needs new plexi, full service etc so there is a limit to how much i'll pay to own yet another sm600.

bit annoying, but someone wants it more. i just hope its no one i know
