Last Saturday a lady from the Omega Boutique called, stating that a watch that I asked on my previous (and first) visit was available.

Yesterday I went to the Boutique and I decided to say "no, thanks" and I cancel my reservation.

We leave the Boutique and I made a comment "It's just another Speedmaster". Some day ...

My wife and I were walking to a restaurant and she said: "Let's go back. You deserve that watch".

We took the escalator back and ...

1) A nice package

2) A large box

(I need to take a picture of the inside of the nice case -- I forgot)

3) A nice watch, the "First Omega In Space".

Nice size, lovely hands, good brown leather strap and to my surprise, very smooth to wind.

I love re editions.

A full review will come with much more pictures, as soon I have time.

Great call, Nilo - this is, I feel, the very best modern special edition of the venerable Speedmaster.  It faithfully captures the essence of the original, and was a perfect fit on my wrist.

I know that a wife that not only tolerates this hobby but push you to another watch is a very rare those days.

It looks like you have a great watch, and an even greater wife !  Did you firstly say no because your wife was there? Interesting. I never watch browse or shop with my girlfriend, only alone. I know she has the feeling, "Oh no, not another watch", even though when I purchase something for me, I always follow up with a nice Prada bag or something for her. I said "no" because I like to haggle and on a Boutique there is no haggling.

I do watch shopping with my wife all the time, sometimes I avoid doing because she is the first to say "get it".

As a matter of fact, we went to that shopping mall to buy her birthday gift (FYI, her gift was one order of magnitude less expensive).
