Today I`ve got a Omega solid gold Centenary.
The watch is in a mint condition, works well and was a good deal.
I`ve never had this model so, there is some shots for you to help me realize the good and the bad aspects.

sorry to tell you that there are several flaws to mention:
1) dial is a very bad re-paint
2) crown is wrong
3) movement is in bad condition (plating loss), tarnishing

Agreed with all of Erich's comments . . .
. . . but I would add that this is a highly desirable Omega, and well worth the search for an original dial. Given that so many movements and dials are now appearing on ebay as cases are being scrapped for their gold content, it would be worth your while to keep an eye out for the proverbial needle in a haystack.

you have one plus over many other centenary`s......
the emblem from the early series is like new ! most are well worn and many vanished at all from wear.... enjoy it ! dials should come your way. if not, look up the dial restorer causemann in germany. his font is pretty good. kind regards. achim

Do please keep in mind the original dial that comes with this watch is made of 'solid 18k gold'
Maybe worth your time to check whether your watch retains its original solid gold dial plate, under its obviously refinished surface, or whether the plate has been changed at some point.
You could also try asking Omega via the comprehensive vintage section of their website whether they can maybe provide you an original dial/ any better dial options for your watch? In my experience, Omega takes good care of their vintage watch customers, and can sometimes go out of their way to assist as best as they can.
