Two days ago, homeward bound to Geneva, we have had the pleasure to visit one of the nicest French village whose name is Collonges-la-Rouge
Collonges the Red (as I could translate it) is known for its red stone houses which are absolutely stunning and well preserved.
Unfortunately for us, it was a cloudy and very cold day. Here are few pictures. Hope you'll enjoy them and, if you can visit the center of France, try to stop there.

Absolutely true my friend. So many tourists (and it was in the morning during a cloudy day). I can't imagine how people who live there can live quietly. But this village is really nice 😍

I tried to avoid them when I took my pictures. I can't blame the inhabitants because they live off tourism mainly

There's no specific cheese with this village but as this village is in Corrèze, the main cheese (well known) coming from there is the "Ovalie" (sheep's milk and may be a link with rugby) and the "Pavé corrézien" (cow's milk).
