My wife has been buying up Legos lately to work on with our son.
They have Apollo theme and Star Wars theme, to name a few.
The one we just bought below has other 4000 pieces, crazy!!!!

A friend of mine collects (and builds) Legos.
Star Wars (like Millennium Falcon), Taj Mahal etc. He owns an original Taj Mahal release, and was none too happy to learn a few years back that Lego was going to re-release the Taj Mahal in a new edition. Apparently the secondary market prices for a mint set were trading at 10x the original purchase price prior to the launch of the re-edition (not sure what happened afterwards). In any case, he got two of the new limited edition as well - one for building, and one to be kept in plastics in the collection. ;-) So yes, there is a collector's market for Legos!

Watches are also less likely to be left on the floor, waiting for the unsuspecting victim to step on them without shoes on! Lol
