. . . of Bad Company and Mott the Hoople fame left us two weeks ago. Just heard the news now.
Most of the regulars here know Charlie Watts is an idol of mine. How he played ever so tastefully without drawing attention to himself was the stuff of legend. Ralphs was almost the same level of player as Watts . . . as tasteful as he was talented, and never trying to be the center of attention.
RIP, Mick.
Agree, very sad... plus were losing human talent as the music business embraces computer AI 'music'.
I hear Watts, Chandler, and Ralphs . . .

Great memories listening to Bad Company in the late '70s
Thinking back to my Fiat 124 Spider with its 8-track cassette player, popping in Bad Company on full volume. Looking for photos with a Minolta SRT-101 or Nikon F2 and TriX, while listening to Shooting Star, Seagull, and Feel Like Makin' Love. Most every song ended with the same jam, but the tunes were catchy and energy just right for the times.
