Union Pacific big boy locomotive
The big boy came thru town on tour to the east coast. The last operating steam engine of the 25 that were made in the early 1940s. It weights in at 1 million plus lbs.

You're really fortunate to have seen it in action!
I've been to Steamtown in Scranton several times, but seeing a Big Boy in action would definitely be a very different experience versus merely seeing it on display. So glad you enjoyed it!
