So I received mine last night and decided to wear it into work today.
An old surgeon's bravado: " Steel to heal"

Work finally done. Surgery took about 40 minutes to complete.

This organ was removed.

As ugly as the placenta is, it sure does a marvelous job.

Time to wash up

One thing that I loved about the ABR is that it is absolutely functional. Other "doctor's watches" with graduated bezels do not work... how can someone actuate the chronograph button if their fingers are on someone's pulse? It cannot be done.
Some comments from colleagues around the hospital:
"Cool watch, I like that carbon fiber dial. It looks like one of those 3D holograms"
"It is amazing how something that is functional can look so good"
"Finally a watch that a life flight nurse can afford!"
I got the lab technicians to agree to do some microbiology studies for me. Let's see how well the disinfectable protocol really is!
I hope everyone else is enjoying their ABRs.
Best, MIke

And it passed with flying colors!

The high temperatures and pressure will de-grease and un-lubricate your movement.
You will void your warranty by 'abuse' beyond expected parameters.

Always wondered how you are supposed to check pulse rate whilst operating a chronograph. Now I know for sure, you can't !!!
Hope everyone's enjoying the ABR, mine's just been mailed
