With the plethora of shoe posts recently, I thought I might as well post shots of my new shoes I bought as a gift for myself for a very hectic and busy November.  This is my 1st pair of Tod's and I can't believe how comfortable they are!  A family relative has many pairs of Tod's and now I know why he keeps buying them.

Fits like a glove and extremely comfortable.  Shoes don't work well in puddles though but at least it doesn't rain much in SoCal.

What are your experience with Tod's?  Like them or hate them?  How long will these round rubber grips last if I wear them once a week?

The Nike Air cushion spoils me when I wear Cole Haan.  I could walk all over Manhattan with them.

even though it may look like it might because of the circle rubber soles.  One thing I have noticed though is the sole makes a "sticky" noise after I walk on some water because when I'm at the sink area in a men's public restroom, the floor is usually wet.  I usually leave the bathroom with a slight sticky noise when I walk.

It looks like the little dots may wear out pretty quickly if you walk too much. I guess it's mostly for driving!

unfortunately haven't had the chance to get any pair as no one stocks them in my size, at least the retailers I have checked with as far as 4 hours away by plane. Not keen on buying off the net as prefer to try them on first hand at least for the first pair.

Their styles are pretty modern without being too trendy IMHO. Congrats. Yours look like a pair I would get myself if I had the chance to do so.

Those rubbers will last long if you only wear them once a week, all depends offcourse on your own weight and the way you walk. There is a big difference in people wearing out shoes, my shoes last pretty long but i have some friends (heavy weights) who can wear out a nice, expensive pair in a couple of months ....

I have a few pairs, formal, rubber sole and sport, all are very nice to wear.

the rubber sole a bit slippy on wet floor

personally I like Tod's more than Gucci or LV

but not more than that.
I bought a pair of suede loafers this summer.
They certainly look good, but I am not impressed.

Cool shoes Anthony!  Tod's is know for being comfortable.  I like the black stripe on the side, makes it look sportier.  -MW

i always feel compelled to accessorize with the same brands as i dont like mixing so i will wear gucci moc's to go with wallet/sunglasses.. which are all crap... i wish i would have started with a different brand to accessorize.. :-/ not the most comfortable and not the highest quality.. but still look good.. so that is a plus at least.

visited tod's store in vegas and they had some moc's that made me go wow... especially what i call the "hornbacks"

and driving loafers in general, however they do seem to wear quite quickly.

Tod's can be had for $70-100 per pair if you get them at the outlet stores - appropriate pricing for the amount of wear they will give, IMO...

Dressy one....with rubber sole...which i like it for the grip but not the fading after a while....
