First of all Merry Christmas to all! Secondly, since this is my 500th. post and also Christmas Day ,(evening here in Asia) I decided to do something a bit more lengthy and hopefully offer you some highlights of what my day was like.
First up, my friendly neighbour's daughter showing me her new bike(X'mas present)
Heading off with my better half towards our destination.Decided to wear my festive watch, the Red ROO.
Finally, we are there at a private marina looking for our friend's yacht . Is this the one?
Yes it is
Entering the foyer
Details of the Trompel'oeil mural and banister by Astolfo Turelli that was inspired by panels recovered from the 1930s passenger liner S.S. Normandie.
Some of the guest rooms
Galley with the master chef.
The bridge which features seven monitors that can be lowered into the console when not in use.Connely hide pilot's chair by Recaro.
Owner's personal coat of arms on side of the boat
One of the many lounge areas
Bar
Dine in style
The ceiling is studded with planetarium-style fibre optics. Connected to the yacht's GPS, the stars and constellations revolve to reflect the true heading and depict the night skies of northern and southern hemispheres.
The central portion of the table is a hand made crystal bas-relief representation of the moon's actual surface.Lit by optic fibres,it gives off a lunar glow.
My watch on the moon's surface
On hindsight I should have worn this.
As you can by now assess this yacht is HUGE and includes gym, infirmery, communication centre, office etc. So here are a few more casual pics.

the weather is so perfect for us now but 6 degrees isn't so bad. Have a great X'mas!

It's the Singapore GP commemorative piece issued as a LE of 250 pcs. in Sept. of this year.I think it's only available at the AP boutiques but chances of getting one are pretty slim.

Truly fabulous yacht
Real luxury in every sense.
Cannot find a comparable one at Sentosa here.
Thanks for your nice words. Will be welcoming the new year at the same party that I have been attending for the past 5 years.Seeing old friends tops it all!
Cheers & all the best for 2009.
