Reenactment of first supersonic flight
Hi All.
It's hard to realize that the Bell X-1 first flew more than 60 years ago in 1947. I remember reading at the time about the British experimental aircraft that disintegrated as they neared the sound barrier and the pilots who were killed. I think that Chuck Yeager, the X-1 pilot is still with us.
Keep the sound on tour computer as you watch this. Also note what some hobbyists can do with their model airplanes.

That was kinda cool!
We saw Chuck Yaeger at Louis Vuitton signing autographs for his book a few months ago. Cool video, that's a huge toy airplane! Harv, do you fly one of those or is it a hobby of yours?
