as a quick aside I am kinda heated that neither of my other 2 faves qualified for the Masters this week in Houston:
1. PGA Rookie sensation Rickie Fowler.
This kid is an animal on Tour, as well as a watch fan. I was looking forward to watching Rickie this week. He's 21 and goes to Cold Stone Creamery every night
, not to mention he is a Rolex guy.
This from Rickie's twitter (yes those are twin 1000-gauss magnets next to his Milgauss):

Another beautifully natural golfer (and large-type stud), I know Charles is crushed not to be playing in this years Master's.

I'm not much a golfer but with all the publicity of Tiger Wood's activities off the golf course will probably bring big ratings for the sport. Without Tiger on the PGA, I don't think many would watch. It would be interesting if he won as the media will be even more crazy!
But in sports for tonight it's all about the NCAA Championship Finals! Butler vs. DUKE!

Would be nice to see Luke Donald or Vij
although I really doubt it. Luke has a nice compact and simple swing but somehow never makes it in the US. Vij would be a great winner again.. his work ethic is fantastic but again, given his back ache forcing a withdrawal last week I think, again, another big doubt.
What I do hope but which won't happen is the Masters stsays about golf. But tiger being who he is and teh US media being who they are, the expected distraction will be there. I'm not condoning what Tiger did but the Masters is about golf, Tiger is probably still the best despite him being mentally distracted and there is a place for everything and Augusta should be about golf.
