I was away last weekend and visited the abovenamed, as it suggests, the highlands located in one of the states where i live. A place made famous by the British and tea plantation estates. A very laidback countryside highland so to speak. Along the way you could capture scenes or meet and talk to the aborigines who are undergoing modernization in their lives. Different types of tea leaves for local consumption and export markets. We rented a cottage to stay for the weekend. Cool breeze and temperature. If you are into beautiful flowers, this is where you should go. If you are into nature, scones, English tea, fresh fruits and vegetables, British heritage, night and morning markets, villas and cottages, strawberries, lots of strawberries with chocolate fondue, thinking of taking the winding hill roads up 5,000 feet above sea level in your performance cars, or bikes, gastronomy, Starbucks, yes they have Starbucks on a plateau which specializes in tea, hill trekking, fresh and clean air, this is what this place can deliver. I captured many pics of green tea plantations from the summit of a few hills, but its in my digital camera. will share them with you when i download them. If you wiki or google the above, lots of pics to be discovered, i never realize you guys talk about so much in TO besides watches
Ooops forgot some pics..

..roads may be narrower, but good test on driving skills. its not difficult. nothing but winding roads surrounded by tropical rainforest... do go visit if you have the opportunity..
