August 10 and September 9th are the next Super Moons occurrences. We too got cloud cover last night!

We must have been shooting the moon less than 24 hours apart.
I took this the evening of July 10 before I went away for a few days. It was the only good pic out of the 10-12 shots. The others were either too bright, too dark or not sharp.
I didn't like the cloud that kept blocking the view initially. But then it thinned down to give an interesting glow around the moon on this one.

That's awesome!
Awesome capture Ruckdee, the clouds give it a mysterious effect plus you can see the details of the craters on the surface. Very cool shot!
