I finally visited the GO boutique in Singapore few days ago.
A small and cosy boutique with very warm and knowledgable staff.

The watch that seduced me the most in the boutique is the GO Senator Perpetual Calendar boutique edition.



The case is in steel and that blue dial is simply amazing! It's not like any other blue dial I have ever seen.

I love high complications in steel cases and especially with blue dials and this ticks all the boxes.


Some other interesting parts of the boutique I captured. My phone settings had some issue that evening and many of my photos had to be deleted.




Swan neck door handle. How cool!



Took this pic as I was walking off so didn't ask the boutique staff about this watch. Seems like it can read multiple time zones - anyone knows this watch?

I am so new to GO. I didn't know they were related to Lange initially . So much to research and read!

Not that I am as fit with Go as I am with Lange, but GO does do also some terrific technical and esthetical watches.

What is also great about GO is that they can do modern pieces also and the current 70ies chrono is a top one (especially in steal with grey sunburst dial: a great monochrome watch!).

The last watch in your post is the Senator Cosmopolite, a watch that I have not seen yet, but it is a fully capable travellers watch that considers also 45, 30 and 15 min offset time zones and pays even attention to daylight saving times! ( I am not sure if there is a comparable travel time  watch on the market)

A bit big apparently, a bit "complicated" (just a little bit ) and certainly a watch for the technical nerd!

Already my head was spinning when I was trying to figure out the Worldtime for a few moments just before I gave up and left the boutique lol

It is worth diving into the history of G.O. which in a certain sense is at the same time history of watchmaking in Glashütte. In contrast to Swiss manufacturers, who enjoyed the benefits of the Swiss neutrality during the World Wars, the Glashütte companies had to deal with two World Wars, the Nazi regime, the Communist regime and the breakdowns of either. This background is ofter overlooked but it makes the achievements of G.O. during the past two decades twice as stunning.
Haven't seen the blue dialed Senator SC so far. But I trust it looks gorgeous. The G.O. dial manufacture in Pforzheim does an excellent job.
