Sorry for a dumb techie question - I was trying to understand why one would need the two regulator arms - unless they are directly connected and it is just the one....

Now I am going to have to get the big camera out, strap on the macro and have a crack at getting a better picture.

. . . your photos are just fine.   The swan's neck regulator that adjusts the beat on your Richard Lange is in clear view - Lange uses a smaller regulator perpendicular to the rate regulator, while Glashütte Original employs an identical regulator in a mirror-imaged arrangement.  Regards, Art
