Glashütte Original

. . . in Glashütte have provided prizes for three talented contestants, and their product designer Katharina Stegman has graciously agreed to judge the photos after the contest is closed in three weeks.

The rules are simple: post no more than five entries of a Glashütte Original watch, provide a title for each photo, and include the abbreviation 'PS' after the title if the picture was photoshopped or 'NPS' if the picture has not been altered. Please don't post any responses to entries . . . they will be deleted without notice. Wrist shots are not specifically excluded, but a natural setting is preferred. The photo(s) can be of movements as well as watches. The prizes are, from first to third . . .

. . . a numbered copy of 'Measuring the Moment', signed by Dr. Frank Müller, President of Glashütte Original . . .

. . . a Glashütte Original cigar case with cutter, and . . .

. . . a Glashütte Original writing case with pen. In addition, there will be a special prize for the best photograph that has not been altered . . .

Just a clarification on what counts as NPS, is it no modifications at all (apart from rescaling, so we aren't uploading 15mb JPGS) or just not re-worked (so minor cropping or some such allowed)?

We thought this should be taken literally. So, most of our pics were shot out in the nature

In truth, weather was too fine to stay indoors last Saturday.

So, we grasped 3 of our GO favorites for a combined walk and pic shooting on a wonderful and sunny late autumn day.

Back home, on late Saturday afternoon, it was already dark, and we had to light a candle in order to illuminate our GO favorite No. 4.

really, that watch does not exist... yet... but why not? may be fellows from GO will follow my braingame... My name for it is NightMareTourbillon... Not glamourous... next time I will propose something "en rose"... cheers... 

I was lamenting the loss of our local Glashutte Original dealer, 3 blocks from my office, when I found out another local dealer picked up the brand.  I was pleasantly suprised that the new location had almost the entire line in stock.  I was able to examine a Senator Meissen and the first tourbillon I have seen in "real life".  This photo does not do it justice.
