Glashütte Original

I truly appreciate what Glashutte Original has done with this piece to make it what it is today. The careful thought invested into this piece makes this (in my opinion) the current hallmark of the Glashutte Original brand.

And just watching the planetary gears work is amazing.

I was very lucky in April and had the chance to try on a RG Senator Chronometer. I loved it!

Even though it has a (relatively spoken) moderate pricing, it feels like the crown on the G.O. model range.
Maybe this is because it concentrates almost entirely on its task of good old, old fashioned, traditional timekeeping?

BTW I think it was a very clever step to add a panorama date. It makes the watch scream: No, not in the safe! I want to be worn!

organization of the text.  Lots of writing scattered about.  I would put the word "chronometer" on the sub seconds dial, and "Glashutte" between the center of the watch and the date.

That criticism aside, the watch is gorgeous, and would not stop me from buying one.  Definitely my favorite release from all manufacturers this year that I could possibly afford.

But through a friend from an AD was told this summer.  So I'm hoping for a few months.  I will look forward to any more concrete information you can provide.

As you can surmise, I am rather interested in this watch.  I have never owned a GO, but a close friend has an RG panograph and loves it.  Thanks Art!  BTW, any more pictures of this nugget?
