Glashütte Original

Something isn't right about that story ...

Art will get the 'word' direct from Glashutte for you, but these watches have international warranties that will be honoured. So don't be worried, Victor.

What you will find is that Monards or other AD's will likely charge you for the cost of shipping to the service centre. They would absorb this cost if you had purchased from them, but are otherwise not obliged to do so.

Hope you get it sorted out quickly.

Andrew
Ps. if the watch is out of warranty, the cost of transport will be included in the service cost, but a GO AD should still be willing to handle that for you.
PPs. after paying CHD500 to get my Journe to Geneva from their own Boutique in HK and back again, every other service transport cost feels like a bargain! ;-$

Does GO still have an AD in Australia? If not, then marblegoby may have no other choice but to send to Germany.

The mentioned AD no longer lists GO as one of their brands on their website  anymore and the Sydney branch certainly no longer stocks GO.

Regards,
Richard.

Thanks again everyone

It is probably the case there is no AD for GO at present (the timepiece appreciation culture in Australia is weak, just visit ALL major shopping centres, departmental stores and airports and you will know what I mean). Which means I will need to send my watch to Germany for remedial work. Since its nearly three years since my purchase, I might as well get GO Germany to give my timepiece a full service.

Please send an e-mail to my PPro address . . .

Cordially,
