I am not a big fan of dates and power reserve indicators, and I much prefer a Minute Repeater than a Tourbillon but I have to admit that this G.O fascinates me a lot.

The GO has a cleaner and less noisy dial, and the combination of the blacks and whites, with the raised chapters for date and power reserve as well as the applied indices - they make a very catchy but legible dial. Just looks a classier piece.

notably the Alfred Helwig Tourbillon 2 . . .
. . . offering a classical interpretation of the theme. There was even a version - Julius Assmann 3 - in white gold with a black skeleton dial that was issued as a convertible (to a pocket watch, with chain).
It's been many years since I've seen one, but they are utterly charming watches in the metal. If I were looking for a beautifully constructed flying tourbillon . . .

Yes! Tourbillon feels like the 3rd eye...
... that stares at you. I was always bothered by the way G.O often make dials that i feel had "emptiness" in some zones. But this one has a lot for her. Quite a bold design. Indeed, they look like cousins.
From where did you find this model? Is it old, new?
