Glashütte Original

I had raised the question about milling in the thread about GO's new dial manufactury.  I had seen a Sen Chron that I was certain had the romans simply printed on the dial.  Mine finally arrived yesterday and just as could be seen in the pics MichaelC had previously posted, the romans and minute track are most definitely recessed into the gorgeous frosted dial.  GO was so kind as to provide a brown fitted strap which I think looks better on the rose gold than does the black it normally comes with.

 

 

and beautiful hands. I love the milled or etched out Romain numbers on the dial, very classy.

Enjoy it, one of my favorite timepieces since I began collecting.

I love this watch and agree on the strap. While I greatly admire this one and have no complaint I have in my mind a brother which is much the same save the dial is black, there is no date, and it is made in platinum. This watch to me would be perfect and I know I would have no defense from its charms. I suppose from a financial standpoint it may be good GO has not decided to dangle such a morsel in front of me? lol At any rate I think the only thing that has held me back from buying into this one is knowing in my mind there is something that would make it perfect to me even though it doesn't exist. Not sure if I'm explaining that well as I lack the skills with words some of you folks have at your disposal.

I would have ordered one if I realized it was available. Instead I have the rubber strap.

As for the engraving, do not forget the "Glashutte Original" on the dial is also engraved. Hard to see with a loupe, but possible with the right angle.
