Nubuk strap for Senator Rattrapante
I ordered a new strap for my Senator Rattrapante and must say:

all... I was told that the nubuk is slightly sensitive and may get shiny... I´ll see.
The strap is original from Glashütte Original, I think normally for the PanoInverse or PanoMatic Lunar.
I think that Kaufmann makes the straps for GO, but I´m not sure...

I have the grey Nubuk strap...
...on my PanoInverse XL. As Henning suggests, it is prone to becoming shiny (and darker.) However, this is reversible. I use a suede brush and bar to keep it clean and restore the nap. Works like a charm. Still looking great after a year.

Strap combination - elegant!
Perhaps I would prefer the shorter GO strap on my wrist, as of now, but have no idea which suits me better, without comparing them. Comfort is paramount!

Always an honor to see somebody wearing one of these! Yesterday it was on my skin for timing operations, then I forgot to take it off for another watch - but why should I bother myself with doing that?
The Nubuk on my PanoInverse XL has turned dark, almost black, but the fit is good and the watch looks great, so no worry there. Maybe I can brush it back to a more sportly brown?

Try a suede brush
I use a suede brush and bar kit to clean the grey Nubuk strap on my PI XL. Works great. Brings back colour and the the nap.

yeah....it rocks
now it comes together what belongs together. Perfect in every way. Ok and next step ist to improve the readability oft the hands . As you can see on the pictures...it is hard to read.
But every time I see this watch, I'm a little bit worry... but I was clear in mind at my decision to sell it.

Stealthy combination. The Senator Rattrapante . . .
. . . is one of those unbelievably intricate exercises in German watchmaking that one has to experience in the metal to fully appreciate.
Of course, it helps to have a fitting strap to wear it with! Nicely done - the grey nubuck makes for a perfect match.
