‘A’ Series PAMs a good buy?
I read that post Panerai bubble several years ago that prices have dropped. This can be seen in the market with competitive prices.
How about ‘A’ series watches? I have the chance to buy an A series PAM 025 Submersible. Condition good, slightly worn bezel and numbers. With box and papers. Probably the lowest price I’ve seen in the market at the moment.
Are these A series likely to become sought after again, or are still sought after.

You never know with Panerai. The bubble is over, yes, that's clear. The other thing is that the PAM 25 was not a hot reference.
So don't go for it because it is or it could be a hot reference. Just go for it because you like it.

Yes it’s a nice A series as daily user and being A series a bit of a historical piece

Prices have settled but in the longer term this could change. Buy it if you like it.
The PAM25 was my first Panerai. Loved it, and wish I still owned it. Like the A series you mentioned it was also a t-dial. BUT there's nothing collectible about it.
That said, I would go with a t-dial, and perhaps some will ascribe a small premium to this. I can't remember when they changed from the t-dials, but it ran at least through E series (so 2500 of these out there at least) so the A series is not special in any way and pretty much any of the first few thousand produced give you the same thing.

I think mine was a F series so that's what had me thinking the production was 400/500 per series.
If you have "investment" in mind, leave it alone.....
the time when every model with a T-dial was...salivated after...is long gone. The only models that might (who knows if or when) rebound are the Pre-V and the Pre-A. This because they use Panerai original "Florentine" parts. The A models are already "Swiss stuff". As far as the Submersibles go, the situation is still worse. The Submersibles have been classified as..professional instruments...and produced with T-dials long after year 2000. There are therefore T-dialled C-D-E models which sell for a song and a dance (so to speak of course). The hobnail dial doesn't help either, since it has NO Panerai DNA whatsoever and on a professional, tool watch has the same sense of marmelade on the spaghetti carbonara
