Hi Tony, I think that strap looks awesome on your Panerai 968!
But now you have me thinking, in the past twenty years, how often have I said to myself "Hmm, should I keep this watch?" and then I actually do go on to keep the watch. I can't think of one. As soon as the seed of doubt starts in my mind, the story only ends one way.....

... if you’re in doubt (and I can understand that you are), it’s probably okay to let it go and find some watch that gets you 100% excited.
Personally I think the bronze Patina on this one will not be as exciting as with previous editions because of the bezel.

Time for a different opinion!
This is—if I may— a MAN'S watch. And I think you have the wrist to carry it off. The photos don't really show overhang, though. So, I may be wrong. But your hands don't seem small, either. It looks good to me. Strap… affirmative! And quite frankly I like the variety that the bezel will provide when the patina is more pronounced. My wrist is 7.25 (18.4) and probably wouldn't accommodate this bruiser. But I'd definitely try it on at an AD's! I'm quite taken with this, and not always with Panerai. My two cents… FH

Well, I completely agree with those who advise to follow your intuitions and not settle for anything less than complete satisfaction and comfort.
I love my FC Slimline Moonphase, yet never wear it because the combination of their 42 mm case and that "all dial" look of the piece just push it over the edge. What a pity! Yet, there you have it. I've learned a lot from that experience (whereas my Speedmaster, at 42, comes off as being quite a bit smaller, and fits perfectly). You will know best what suite you. We should all have confidence in that.
Nice combo, but I honestly prefer the 382 and 507!
for some reasons the brown dial and especially ceramic insert look kinda weird on a bronze case. Too modern for a vintage looking timepiece. Bronze was chosen for vintage appeal and aging wasn’t it? For some reasons this 968 doesnt fit there.

the feedback of the other Paneristis were as well quite positive.
