But for me as a tool watch, it's a hard sell. I'd take titanium or steel and find comfort in the fact that the case could take a lifelong beating and wear its dings and scratches with pride. As a luxury item and although I would not buy one I do however understand the appeal. Recent submersible prices have been eye-boggling though.
For a company that recently has been selling itself as a laboratorio di idee, they appear to be extremely short of ideas. It would only take a handful of people from this community to design a few killer pieces with widespread appeal, although I suspect margins would take a hit. For me at least and for the time being, second hand is where the action is, just got a 305 for a good friend and he has been very happy.

Your point is well taken, I did own at one time a carbotech submersible. What they don’t tell you is that this stuff flakes and can chip !!!
I did raise the point and the sales associate told me that in 4 years of sales they have not experienced this issue ..

Compared to the older models, this for some reason looks like a toy and less credible.
Sorry, I personally don't, but have few friends in Singapore who owns them.
Their overall concern is about watch case can not be repaired in case of drop or damage.

I was very tempted but finally choose a 1118, another carbotech ref, quite an impressive material 👍🏼
I find this reference very nice, especially with some aftermarket leather straps…for me personally the price is a turn off compared to say the price of a titanium submersible…
But I do like an all black look like this…
I find it way too cold in the look. I would recommend u have a look on the 616 or the Luna Rossa Carbotechs. Much more tempting for me….
