217 for me. Cant explain why; just my taste. Both fine watches. May be just the nod for the services?
It's the Fiddy for me...
much as the dials are the same (only mirroring one another) I've always found the 217 somewhat less "armonic" than the 127. It probably has to do with the PANERAI vs 1950 on the bottom part of the dial. As everybody know around here, though, when there are tough choices to be made, I chicken out and buy....both
