I am not à Panerai guy but this one is very appealing. I think due to the black mate case.
Panerai is really it's own unique style, I think they are there to stay as "timeless designs" as they follow no fashion.
Panerai is just Panerai. I look at my PAM590, and that pre Vendome, and they are "virtually the same", or say essentially same.
