The JV is my all time favourite strap.....
without a doubt. Versatile, classy and even the quality was (even back then) better than other Panerai's straps. For the 605 though, I would suggest a black Assolutamente, though. It's a bit less "dainty" and perfect for a BOLD Luminor IMO 
The Firenze Panerai really is stunning.
Great classic Panerai look but with a dial that's on another level and elevates the whole watch, absolutely gorgeous.

Nicely put, Marc. I’m a sucker for grey dials. However, the sunburst doesn’t always show except in certain light conditions and angles. But when it does, it is something.

I was transfixed. I was in the Florence boutique, taking delivery of the 587 and while waiting I just had a look at the windows. When I got to the 605, Patrizia (the then manager of the boutique) walked out of a door and walked towards me. As she stopped (with the 587 box in hand) I just pointed and told her: I'll have that one too.....please Lollllllllllllllllllllllllll
