There’s actually an old post I found by MichaelC talking about the different series of the 87. And he points out the difference from the 64 Bomba.
The Bomba was the first, the 87 came one or two years after, from memory, and the 87 was not a LE....

An article says how Paneristi who got one of the original 500 LE Pam 64 La Bomba were not happy. But looking at pictures I see there were other dial changes. The original La Bomba is truly a beautiful beast!

Dripping with sub DNA and macho vibes and those T dials look amazing. Love the crown lever engraving as well, nice detail!
I had sold a previous one (non-T) in the past…
but missed its unique character and presence until I got this T version. The T makes quite a difference.
This is one serious watch. Those who know know.
On my short list for sure. This would be my first automatic Panerai.
