I thought it was...pregnant. The one that "did me in", was the 249 California. Out came the credit card

I decided to let it go. I gifted it to one of my nephews that likes Panarai watches. Now he has 2: the 232 and the 249. Truth be told, I've never quite "salivated" after the 000. I bought a Logo, shortly after getting infected. And a few T-dialled ones which I like enormously.

that T-dials are an acquired taste. Then there is....me. Here's what happened. I had bought a 117 from a local "dealer" in Singapore. He delivered it to me, in a coffee shop and after we finalized the transaction, I told him: "I'll have also the one you're wearing, if you don't mind". He was wearing a PAM001A...the very first T-dialed Panerai I bought. I don't have that one anymore but (for silly reasons) but the Tritium "thing" remains for me to this days. I see one, I forget to breathe. I've posted every watch I have, infinite times, since I've joined it (some 20 years ago, I think). For you, the PAM36, that has the same creamy indices of the 001A...

Added these four to my collection - my wrist is only 7” but if one is wearing a military/sporty brand, larger and more legible is, at least for me, preferable!

Of the four I love the 368 and the 687 the most!!! 😍😍😍

My wrist is only 17cm but I have learnt to enjoy from 31mm to 46 without hesitation. Just wear what you like with joy!

I love each of the four, but the gradient dial on the 687 really pops, if you know what I mean. The dial, coupled with the cool octagonal bezel, bearing the legend Brevetatto Panerai,” likely makes the 687 my favorite Panerai, and perhaps, even my favorite watch.

That brushed octogonal bezel looks amazing.

You know? I’ve found that I prefer the look of brushed bezels, like those on the 687, the Mare Nostrum, they just look gorgeous and add to the tool(ish) appearance of the watches.
