Panerai Radiomir PAM 685/687. Which one do you prefer?
Same watch, different dials=Totally different characters.
While I find the black super appealing, the " coffee " is more my taste. A spectacular dial!

I have tried both a number of times
While originally attracted to the 687 dial, over time I have drifted more towards the 685. The 687 can look stunning in some lighting conditions such as a bright sunny day and while more subdued otherwise I always felt that I may get tired of it over the long run. Of all the 47 pams what I like most about this model is the contained thickness, even if it comes at the expense of 30m WR. It doesn't hurt that the 685 appears to come at a discount in general.
30m WR is ridiculous. I hear you on the fact that you could get tired of the 687 dial. 1-1, then.

I am not a fan of the text on the bezel on this one. However, the black dial pops a bit more to me 
687 for me!
Out of the several Panerai’s I have, it’s far and away my favorite. Love the shape of the bezel, the wording on the bezel and most of all the gorgeous gradient dial. For sure a keeper.
