Officine Panerai

Good day people,

i am new to this forum, and this pretty much my first post. i have been eying to this forum for quite a long time, but never register. anyway i am happy that Panerai have its own section.
i am a Rolex and Lange's type of guys, until recently i see a post by Anthony Tsai about panerai 292 that grows a lot on me. since then i start to look at Paneristi . com and other panerai forum.
Now, i am ready to pull the triger on purchasing my first Panerai.
my choices are 249, 232 , and 292

should i  get 249 or 232, or should i just wait for the 292 to arrive (292 is the one that makes me grow on this brand, well first experience is always nice)

can i see your recommendation and choices. any comment will be very helpful.

249, or 232, with a little preference for the 249, as it is a very special watch and the 1st, or quite the 1st Panerai watch.
Yes, it's a Rolex vcase that Panerai ordered bigger, yes it's a Rolex movement...I speak of the vintage, of course.
But the 249 is quite a nice reddition, and that matters to me!
The 292 is less interesting.
I don't like the maiale on the dial and these writings on the dial.... Blackseal sounds strange to me.
And you'll see other Ceramic cases in the years to come, nicer, I think, that this 292.
Just my 2 French Francs.

PAM249 Cali dial brings a lot to the table – historically correct (to some extent).  The PAM232 still a sleeper at this point is the poor man 21, as the twenty is obviously not accessible. There was some talk about the 232 being similar to the 210 the difference being 232-47mm and the 210-45mm a small difference.  But only if you already had the 210.  But if this is your first you will be super happy with the 232 and lovely brown dial.  Avery classy piece for sure.  The 292 has yet to make its rounds so we would have to reserve judgment.

The bottom line is can you get your hands on either one.

Seems like you have fallen in love with the PAM292 Ceramic Blackseal.  You can never ignore your "1st Love"

Yes the PAM232 and PAM249 are great watches, but I don't think that matters in your case.  The higher powers above have made their mark on you, and I'd get the PAM292.  You'll always be thinking about it even if you got a 232 or 249.

pretty much the tittle says it all.
i think i just made up my mind for 292.
it is hard to get? or is it not?
i just have my name on the wait list this evening. hope everything will work out.

but one day i will love to own 249 and 232.

in case you can't get one at your 1st place.  Best to have backup plans in place IMO

I believe you have your answer as you mentioned that "292 is the one that makes me grow on this brand, well first experience is always nice" ..... Good choice on the ceramic blackseal. I think it will come out at the end of this year.

Don't forget to take Anthony's advise, put your name in more than 1 AD as Panerai doesn't launch helfty amount of their products in the market each year.

232 as i feel is very under-rated.... a beautiful piece

Your choice, 292, is also in my wishlist as well. 1st Ceramic Radiomir can't just be ordinary!!! 

I too like like the Rads with the 190 (8-Days) and the 249!!!! I hope to also add the 232.

It would be great to get them all, but obviously that is not a realistic option.

In my opinion they are all great choices and you cannot go wrong with any one of the three.

If I had to pick one, my vote would go for the 249. I find it is an exceptional replica of the original vintage model and has a unique dial & I love the 47mm size!!!!!

well my local AD told me that i will probably get the PAM 292, i certainly hope so.
mean while i am waiting, i just bought PAM 190!!!
i really love it!!
what do you guys think about this radiomir 8 days??
is is quite good enough, and how about the value in the near future??
i will post pics as soon i am done with my busy project.
