The metal bracelet doesn't get talked about much but it is well designed IMO.
I had the polished steel with brushed titanium bracelet on my PAM52 which felt good on the wrist but the polished steel sections of the bracelet were scratch magnets. I've only seen a couple people with the all brushed bracelet and those look much better IMO.
What you guys think about Panerai's metal bracelet? The deployant clasp designs have improved significantly from the 1st generation deployant clasp shown in the below pics. The clasp would pop right open if I bent my wrist forward or backwards. Glad the clasps no longer do that

Hi all,
As this is my first post on the purist Panerai site, let me start by congratulating the Purist, Anthony and Alec on this new forum.
Got to say that I adore the bracelet. In fact, it was the reason why I bought a Panerai in the first place. And what's there not to like, from the seamless integration between the case and the bracelet (especially the middle "lug" that looks like an extension of the case) to the subtle expression of the crown locking device on the links. The design is masculine and it sure looks good on the big screen, especially with the Rock and Pierce wearing one in the Rundown and After the Sunset, respectively.
Since I am not too crash hot about having too much bling, I have a preference for the brushed bracelet over the polished one.
Here's a quick scan of my 124. Its been beat up and abused.
Cheers

Hope it's the 1st of many posts to come
I too like the brushed bracelet over the polished one. Less prone to visible scratches

both in terms of quality and design. My favorite bracelet model and my only sub >>>> the 170

that Panerai make bracelets?!?
I didn't know that!
I thought they were always on some chunky buffalo hide or smelly old WW2 commando-issue canvas straps
Or that true-PPPro (Panerai PuristSPro) fans always swapped their OEM straps.....
Thanks for another tidbit.

Very complicated bracelet construction IMO. You have lots of pieces which overlap and are connected by the screws on the back.

The bracelet is the reason I went for the 50 instead of the 48 for my first PAM. Very solid and well made.
