Btw, do you currently own a Panerai(s) ?
Happy holidays and a happy new years to you as well!

Thank you for your kind words. Hope you and other members wont find my questions and comments out of order. Currently I own 05 and 249.
Thanks
Looking forward to read your posts. The 249 and 5 are truly very iconic of the brand.
Cheers,

Thanks, thats very nice of you. love the design (case, lugs, crown and dial) of both luminor and radiomir. Clean and simple (truly Italian). Never tired of looking at them or feel them (I know sounds weird). Started with 119 and 86, sold them both and got the 05 and 249.
Thanks
Ramin
I started with 119 since I was a little bit concern about the case size that I could carry on my wrist. Keep in mind that before my encounter with panerai, 38 mm (IWC mark IV) was the largest that I went for. I really liked the feel and the look of the watch and start wondering about his big brother 44 mm. After trying 86, never looked back at 119. There were two things though that I really did not like about them; magnifying date glass and wobble that you get from the rotor of 7750.
start reading about the past history of the brand from different sources, decided that hand wound is the way to go so decided to unload 119 and 86 and get 05 and 249. I was lucky to get the 05 at list price from an AD, but 249 was different story. I paid well above the list price for 249, but I think it worth every penny.
Thanks,
Ramin
Watch is a hobby. When it starts a friendship, then it’s been upgraded from "a watch" to something more meaningful.
