Perhaps even in the 1950 case but I'm not sure if it would look right...but should this year hopefully!

I mean the ceramic material. Panerai introduced the 292-Black Seal Ceramic in SIHH 2007 and I believe Panerai will continue to issue some more "Ceramic" pieces....
I expect some Ceramic Base model....especially with 1950 case.
Cheers.
When IWC started manufacturing their ceramic case watches, they mentioned the difficulty in producing. Does anyone have knowledge of Panerai's experience?

Slate Grey Dial with Sunburst Platinum hour & minute hands, no date!!! Am I obsessed???
Best,
Nat
MHO, simplicity is the key for Panerai, shouldn't be something too complicated, dials these days are getting too cramped for showing many different things or functions. I would hope for no date, no second hand, Radiomir case, but try out for different materials (or mix of different precious metal) for the casing and exotic strap, python skin is my choice (sorry if i am getting too crazy here!)
^^ good day all!
Horseman~
it's one of the last combinations they haven't made yet, so i'd expect it to come out either this year or next IMO.

but a brand new case design

While all the tribute limited edition pieces have enhanced the brand popularity, I think moving towards the future by going back to the Panerai roots is great but not only in visual design. I think Panerai as a tool and equipment company and its relationship with the military is also important. Why can't Panerai again work with today's military to somehow create a new design and apply that new design to its high priced time pieces? Is that way off base? To not dilute the brand, perhaps creating a separate entity exclusively for practical purposes and using that entity as a creative resource of new design ideas. To me it adds merit and reiterates brand substance from its manufacturing origins.
The 193 is an example of a company searching in the wrong place for a well designed watch. The 193 lacks something. As an instrument, it is nice and interesting but falls short of any useful purpose for me as a diver. It's not really a depth gauge I would use for diving at it's price point and design. The design lacks a some practical design elements, like easy battery replacement and remaining battery life indicator; important components of a "diving" depth gauge with a battery and yet it's not part of the 193 design. It's impractical, I would only buy it now if I thought it was an investment. Would I have bought and used the 193 if those additional design elements were added? Yes probably. It's the super hungryman hamburger without meat. Besides the visual design, for me watches are more than timepieces; there's a practical usability that enhances the reason it's on my wrist.

no trademark 1950 domed crystal

I wish for a Radiomir 10 days power reserve Automatic, Perpetual calendar with date, day, month and leap year indicator in a 47mm Ceramic case.
I would bet it'll probably use the same Agenhor perpetual module that is found in the Ferrari15 perpetual calendar (pictured below). I wonder how Panerai would change the design so it's less sporty and more elegant. Very curious indeed!

just my crazy idea. I think that movement is sooooo cool.
With Brown Dial and Gold hands and dome saphire cyrstal or Plexi. Panerai in-house movement with the PR indicator in the back ala the Panerai Tourb and Pam 190.
Would also like to see the release of a Ceramic Luminor with Painted T-dail instead of the sandwich dials that they have now.
Also, maybe a 44mm 1950 SS case model with a blue dial.
Can't wait till SIHH!
