On my 5218-203/A, there were some dings on the PVD, I asked them if there was a possibility to refresh the PVD..
They answered me: " Do you want us to put some blac paint"???? LOL
When it cale back, my 203/A had more dings than when I gave it to them, and the bezel was turning...Wowow!
The movement was serviced but instead of going 40 sec per day faster , it was going 20 sec faster per day.Nice! LOL
And the bezel that, as all the Luminor marina, is fixed, was moving! LOLOLOLOL
On my Slytech Mare Nostrum with smooth bezel, I asked them to polish or put another bezel, smooth of course..They give it back to me engraving a tachymeter on the bezel, and I have a witness of that, here , in the Putists fellows, as it is hardly imaginable! LOLOLOL
I repeat it, if I didn't have the chance to have a witness of that, all the people will belive that I'm crazy! ROFL
This time, the job is perfect.

On my other Mare Nostrum Slytech, but with the normal graduate bezel, they ....Broke...The glass!

I asked for a light buff of the case, and changing the glass that was not in a good shape, but I asked to not touch the dial neither the hands...
I am one of these fanatic that think that the less oyu touch the watch , the best it is.
This Logo pre v has a very nice story and a famous ex owner.
I don't want to break the charm of this piece, and I preecisely ask to Panerai to respect my desires, which they did perfectly.
All is fine!

WOW, My Logo Pre V just came back form the Service Center
Well, I fighted HARD with Panerai in a quite recent past to now do this post, and to say that THIS TIME, the work on my Logo Pre V is just perfect.
I had to give it for a complete service and the change of the glass...
All is perfect and now my Logo is really like New in Box...And Only 3 weeks waiting!
I have to precise that I wanted my Logo to be serviced in France, not in Swizerland where they absolutely killed 3 of my pre vendome 2 years before.
I'm more than happy, I'm totally excited.
And I'll post some pics of my treasure ASAP.
These Pre V rule!!!

My question is what is the school of thought regarding leaving a watch in its original un restored condition and having the restore to where it looks almost new. Now I am not talking about touching the hands or dial. Really just the case work.
For me it looks pretty good all fresh like yours but I was wondering what others think.
