Mirian asked: "I would like to ask if PAM 317 will crack if drop on the floor or hit something hard since it is ceramic. Kindly enlighten me, thanks!"
Any Black seal ceramic owners here accidentally drop theirs on the floor?

Asi send it to me and I'll test it for you......however i don't think you'll get it back in a rush..
At least not till mine arrives..!!
Andy.
Slipped out of my hand as I was taking it off (60% functional right hand thanks to my snowboard!!) It fell in slow motion and seemed to land smack on the glass and bounced across the slate kitchen floor, I could have cried!
Still, to my releif, only very slight damage considering. It has a tiny blemish on the polished bezel and a dink on one of the lugs, I've felt sick about it all day! Anyway, even after, such a thump, the watch is as durable as hell. Not sure how a ceramic would have taken the impact. I couldn't imagine that it would be as tough as a lump of steel?
P.s. Can these be polished out? How are scratches or dinks on the brushed steel treaed? Can one do the work ones self or is it best t take it in to AD?
Bes regards,
Mat
The ceramic is made by de-gassing in a chamber.
Each Silicon molecule is formed in perfect polygonnal sequence.
It has no flaw lines to allow ding, dang, crack due to drop or dents.
or even someone drop the ceramic Panerai on the floor.
Only if you drop it of the 4th-5th floor...
Cheers
