Dear All,
Can you tell me how to choose these 3 watches 233,289 and 270 as my first Panerai regardless the pricing ?
Is it make to pay double price of 233 to buy 289 in order to stand out in the crowded because there are lots people ordering 233 and 270in Hong Kong and the quenue is quite long. I It may take 2 years as AD said.
Do I miss other better option Model no. besides these 3 ?
I favor R and L series only.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Eric
As none of the watches has any historical significance and as money is not an issue I would go with 289.

The 289 is really nice, if you like the rose gold, I say go for it.
I went with the 270 beacuse I was looking for an automatic watch with long power reserve, but nowhere as big or as heavy as the IWC Big Pilot. The PAM 270 is perfect. I love the "9" and the AM/PM indicator is more precise and practical than the 233/289. My J series came two weeks ago, after 6+ months on my US AD wait list. Good luck in your search.

Otherwise, between the 270 and 233, you can't go wrong with either.
If you're used to automatic winding watches, then the 270 is your choice. PAM233 is manual winding.
PAM270 is advertised as a 10-day power reserve, but the PAM233 has 10-days power reserve as well even though it's advertised as 8 days.

Anthony
Dear All,
Can anyone tell me the term RG version standing for what?
it is Rich Group or Somthing.
I want to learm more in this forum.
Cheers,
Eric Lau
Go for it if you love the gold look. However, 233 is not much different from 270...almost same power reserve performance.
