Officine Panerai

Dear All,

Today, One of the AD informs me that there will be two watches 235 and  273 delivery on coming weekend . What is your suggestion between 235 and 273?

How do we decide? I never have one Panerai so far.

Both watches are the same, and the only difference is the case metal.  The PAM235 is white gold while the PAM273 is pink gold.  I've tried the PAM235 on the wrist, and it's awesome   Love the weight and thickness of it on the wrist.

These 2 watches are different than the ones u posted in the below threads since these are Radiomirs.  I guess you just need to decide now if you want a Luminor or a Radiomir.  After you make that decision, then it'll be much easier to narrow down your choices.

PAM235

Dear Mr.Tsai,

I am 40 years old  chinese with small wrist.  And I haven't decided  these  L amd R series because I never try it on hand . Actually, I like both series.

The only watch I had is GMT Rolex.

You had said 289 is a welll done product in your article 2007.

Just comparing 289 and 235, What do you recommend me since these watches is not cheap?

And I don't want to be regreted after  couple of months.

since you write you haven't tried any on before.  So go to any Panerai authorized dealer in Hong Kong and they will have some Radiomirs and Luminors for u to try on.

After you do, you should know if you like a Luminor or Radiomir better.  So if you like the Luminor, get the PAM289; and if u like the Radiomir, get the PAM235.

Actually, I favor your recommended watch 246 but the Hong Kong AD said it all sold and no more further product.

Does 288 be a best choice in Radiomir Chro except 246? Other options?

but it appears you have yet to decide what you really like.  I counted at least 8 models you've asked this forum for input. 

There are plenty of resources on Panerai watches on the web.  If I were you, I would hang around this and other Panerai fora, read as much as I can from other peoples' posts on the history of the brand, and what people likes and dislikes about their PAMs before deciding whether a particular Panerai model is right for me. 

Frankly, no one other than me can ever tell me what I like or dislike.  And one person's best watch may not be the right watch for me either.

I 've tried both series this morning and found that I favor Radiomir more.

Do you have any comment on 309 ?

Actually, I tried this one and I love it now.

I f I have chance to get both 309 and 235, how do you compare?
