Officine Panerai

After 6 months of trying on, window shopping, reading, more trying on, more window shopping, more reading (and finding this forum) I have finally bought my first PAM !

I am so excited that I wanted to share it with you all.

I spent over an hour in my local PAM suppliers trying on and taking off and trying on again and taking off again; seven models from an 8 day LUM 233 thru to a RAD 210 via 3 LUM bases, a a marine and another Rad.

Which one did I buy? You'll have to wait and see.

The watch I finally bought had only arrived in the shop that morning and hadn't even been putthrough the shop's system yet.

 

Of course I took pics for you to share in my excitement.

So here's the opening ceremony (you can forget the Olympics opening ceremony, this is the real one....)

Nice choice:  Light, comfortable, and, of course, classicly simple.

Now it's all about the straps!  Until your 176 yearns for a sibling, that is . . . (maybe you've got a Rad in the oven?)

Titanium has its own unique appeal and going with the Base model is fantastic choice to start you Panerai adventure.
