26 made of steel, PVD coating, not-so-interesting movement but sandwich dial.  Essentially a tribute to the past. 

317 made of ceramic case, in house 8 day power reserve single pusher chronograph at more than twice the list price  Basically the showcase of all the latest technologies from Panerai.

I would be really surprised if a buyer is torn between the two as they're just so different...

I want both but if i had to choose i would go with 317 because it is so unique. Correct me if i am wrong guys, it is the first 1950 case that is ceramic!

I would prefer the 26 more to the 317. However, I believe 2 interesting points are the movement and it function to be considered.

If you're budget is tight and you're pushing it in getting the PAM317, then opt for the PAM26.  That would be my deciding factor if I had to choose between the 2.

If my budget can easily support the PAM317, I'd get that hands down.  Otherwise, PAM26 would be the most logical choice budgetwise.

Will you be getting one of them?  If so, please do keep us updated
