That the PAM 341, AKA the Egiziano homage that was released this year at SIHH 2009 as a special edition had increased it's limited edition number from 300 to 500?
Seems as though even alot of people complain about not being able to wear it, the demand is so great that Panerai is forced to increase the amount made available to the market!
Wonder what other change will happen, mon ami Nico mentioned the possibility of the colour of the hands changing ( from matte black to gold), that would not be ruled out now.
Anyways, just some more photos, courtesy of our dearest moderators Nicolas and the others! ( Sincerest apologies if i missed out your names!)

Ciao ciao!
Stephen
just noticed it at the panerai website.
Our chance getting one is increased!
Alepos
Here's to us getting our piece!
Cheers
Stephen
How's the list growing in Hong Kong?
Stephen
with the 232, the hands were announced black but changed to gold for the production, am i correct?
Well, in any case, i'm glad that Panerai even CREATED THIS PIECE!
Loving it more and more everyday!

This woud lighten up the need/pressure to issue more 60mm Egiziano or variants of it in the future in order to justify the overall economics.
And i'd prefer it that way, because i strongly believe that 60mm CANNOT AND MUST NOT be used for anything but the Egiziano, although there is a very faint possibility that they would use it to re-create the Israeli Navy monster!

So if i could say it again, i believe that the 60mm cannot be used for anything but the Egiziano and this!
Thanks for the fast post reply!

Hi Jester,
I heard somewhere that this proto was made of aluminium? If that's the case, was it just a mock-up (easily machined case and no rust) for test purposes?
Unless some other forums and people!
Yea , objectively i would have to agree with what you said, about this piece being too big, unwearable, and for it's price you can find many other much better choice.
But subjectively, i fell in love at 1st sight upon it's announcement at SIHH 09 and am going to wear it much on my wrist because I TOTALLY adore huge gigantic watches ( so you can imagine how much of a dream come true this is for me).
Hope you found other PAM's among the year's novelties that suit your taste!
Cheers
Stephen
Well, since there are quite alot right now, you and me are sure to get ours!
Salute con uno amarone!
Ciao ciao
Stefano
