Thanks to Anthony I am a little poorer! Just got a PAM 246

After reading Anthony's excellent review of the PAM 246 I was lucky enough to acquire one from an AD who just received one a few months ago. Brand spanking new. Actually the Panerais I have bought in the past just seemed to be the wrong ones for me and never caught a spark. I did buy a beautiful white dial Marina for my daughter for the holidays and she loves it. My friend who is the AD let me wear his 253 (?) Regatta for a few weeks several months ago and I fell in love with the blue hand on it. Funny how one little detail can be a tipping point for a watch! Anyway, I did not own a "foudroyante" and this 246 with the blue hand seemed just the ticket. So I have been wearing it for the last dew days and love it. Really intrigued watching the 1/8th second hand whirl around the subdial. Also I love the Radiomir case which I never had either. The size is great and I love the brown strap that came with it. I've made a lot of people poorer with my PAM246 review :P Another one bites the dust!! Woo hoo! 
The brown OEM croc strap is a perfect strap for the 246, and Panerai matched it very well. I find that whenever I switch to an aftermarket strap on my 246, I always seem to go back to the OEM brown croc strap. Plus, the deployant clasp is a knock out too.
