Apart from the obvious resources concerning the modern PAMs (catalougues...what else...) this is my short list of the 'Risti 'must have':
For the history of Panerai, the company -
For the military history:
Some books about the SLCs and the sorts:
Extra bonus, just a great book to have:

Alepos
Volker and Ralf's book is available directly from the authors, send me a PM for a link if you wish.
The last book was a free giveaway, some ADs may still have it.

Asi

Panerai did in 1999 with the WWF concerning the Mediterranean Sea. Panerai came out with a reference PAM 037 (just like a PAM 001, L dial) that had signatures of famous Italian celebrities on the caseback. Each individual watch had two duplicates, one to be auctioned and one to be retained by the celeb. The book is actually an artistic photography book, where on each page the celeb is pictured wearing the watch. The book was available as a free gift at boutiques and ADs.
BTW, one of the watches bears the signature of Maria Panerai.

Asi
Thank you very much Asi for explaning about that book!

I am missing the first book! Where can I find it?
At the boutiques and ADs. I had some copies, but eventually I gave them all away. Keep your eyes open, they do pop up from time to time....
Cheers,
Asi

Take care and ATB!

Thanks Asi it’s a great list. I have a few of them already and ordered one yesterday. I like to add a book to the list J
It's the book L'orologio Panerai . In march 2007 Panerai held the exhibition L’orologio Panerai in Florence. The exhibition was based on a journey taking the visitor from the First Panerai watch up to the latest inventions. The book contains pictures of the exhibition, an overview with a selection of watches produced between 1997 – 2006, a chapter about the manifattura movements and some pictures from the exhibition opening.
Below a picture of the book.
Cheers,
Pierre

The Firenze event was the best watch event I have ever participated in and that book is indeed a special memorabilia! There many books from Panerai concerning the modern Panerai watches, but I decided to concentrate in this post on Vintage and pre-V. More to come for sure.
Cheers,
Asi
Cool that you went to the event! Do you know if there going to be Panerai events held in the (near) future (in Europe)?
Thanks!
Pierre
