Does the color of the watch change over time?
And how does the forming of the patina effect scratches/hairlines over the titanium?

Are there any polished Titanium Luminors out there or only the brushed ones?

At least i have not own the 309 long enough to witness such a change.

As for the availability of brushed or polished Ti, if i am not mistaken, while there is no completely polished Ti Lumes, there is a few or one that has a combi of brushed and polished Ti, polished being on the bezel.

But i'm not that much of a luminor guy, so the others would have to help you in this!

Over the time, the brushed Titanium of the Luminor darkens a bit.

When you give it for a polish, you will notice that the titanium is getting brighter.

But, once again, with the time, it will get darker .

All this is not that spectacular, although.

So no problem if you have hairlines or dings, you can polish the titanium case of your Luminor, and now, Rad.

I wish they did produce titanium luminors that were polished.

Titanium (slowly) forms an oxide coating in contact with air, which will dull any efforts at polishing, and also accounts for colour changes as the oxide layer thickens.

Does anyone have among his collection old and new Ti Panerais that could show the difference in aging?
