Thanks for the photos!  I think the 2nd photo says it all.  Visually, for me, it sums up everything I find attractive about Panerai -- a clean, highly legible dial, a case with a substantial, solid presence, and some distinctive but functional flair in the form of the signature crownguard.

It was also a treat to see the vintage depthmeter and compass, but honestly I can't even imagine the beefiest of fellows sporting those tools on their wrists and not looking a bit, well, odd.  Maybe that's my own short-sightedness!

The Depthmeter and the Compass are just ...Uwearable, as the Eigiano will be, sadly, as it is a very exciting offer.

But the 6152-1...

Huuummmm, would like to get one.

In fact, I'd be ok to sell all my Panerais just to get one...
