A day like I love them...

A Telephone Call, from a Guy asking me to come and see what he just got.

You don't really know what you will see, but, referring to the tone of his voice, you guess that it may be something really exciting,

As we recently spoke about the qualities of Modern and Vintage Panerais, it sounded like a BIG coincidence.

When you see that... You just can admire the work of the Past.



A 6152/1 MM ( Marina Militare ).

Well, the hands were obviously reworked, and the flaw is I would 't have chosen this color for the luminous part, but hey, the rest of the watch is quite stunning!

Just the necessary writing on the dial ( even if it would have even be nicer without any writing at all, like on the Cali ):



An unbelievable strenght, purity of the dial ( sandwhich ), and of this simple, and quite rugged case, enhanced by the crownguard.





Frankly, 6152/ 1 Officine Panerai Marina Militare or Small Egiziano apart, I don't think there is a stronger and a nicer piece, in the Vintage Panerai Watches.

But it wasn't all...

I could also admire a Dephtmeter, in quite good condition:



And...

A Compass, which obviously had a good and active Life:



If the watch is wearable ( 47 mm ), this is not the case of the Compass and the Depthmeter ( 60 mm ), which may be a hint for those who are on the new " Egiziano " ( Pam 341 ).





La creme de la creme is those 3 all together, the Trittico:



I really think that when you see that kind of stuff, it is hard to consider any other stuff.

A Must for any Hard Core Panerai Fan.

The bad thing?

I had to come back home without these Beauties, as they were already sold...

The depth meter is really awesome ...that's what i call "patina" ... !!!

Such an interesting story, incredible devices used cooperatively, very cool stuff. brings more meaning to have them together.

Very lucky of you to always be seeing stuff like these in  France/Europe.

We almost NEVER get these kinda stuff here in Japan.

I agree that the 6152/1 is the greatest vintage panerai in history. You capture the watch very very well my friend.

May I ask....are those the original straps too? And does the 6152/1 comes with the very special GPF-Mod Dep buckle?

This is an original strap, which got a nice greenish color.

And the buckle, too, is original.

Yes, it is one of the greatest Vintage Panerai, with the 6154 and the ...Bloody " 4 lines "...
