I tried the new PAM28 last saturday
AND LOVE IT...
panerai organized an event in Spain last weekend. Great weekend...with lot of paneristi friends in Granada, south of Spain.
We had the chance to try all the new models (expcet PAM341...and 285). New collection is great!
As I had recently get my 26K...was a good opportunity to see the new PVD tool Panerai has released: PAM28
I falled in love my friends. Its a unique piece. central seconds, minutes in the dial, hobnail dial...PVD...soprod movement...

I really don´t need any inscription about power reserve. SOmetimes the dial is busy...so I dont see the lack of writing as a problem

But I didn't like the original, either...
What I don't like is the hobnail dial + the date + the power reserve indicator...
Too much for me.

I know you didn´t like it...LOL!
...and you prefer the inscriptions. But as you say , there are a lot of things in the dial...so no problem for me.

We had a similar event in Tokyo not that long ago, and just like in Spain, no 341, which is sad, because that is what i'm gonna pull on this year!

Between this 28 and your 26, I always prefer the 26.
I don´t understand this watch... too many things in the dial, and a finished that I don´t like too in these kind of watches.
So many nice Pams today can beat this "I don´t understand this re-edition" watch.
But, every one have differents tastes, of course.
